Grandma's Attic: The Coolest Things from New York Antique Week

The word antiques brings to mind visits to stodgy old grandparents' homes and the sweaty fellows who regularly appear on PBS in ill-fitting suits. But if you take a 180-degree turn from high society's favorite brown furniture and antique shows, it is possible to unearth some wonderful oddities. This past few days, the antiques world decended upon New York, and Nick Schonberger visited the quartet of shows that make up New York Antiques Week and documented some of the weirdest things on display.
