The graphic artist Noma Bar has illustrated over sixty magazine covers, and has had his work published hundreds of times in newspapers and magazines around the world. He is a master of negative space and has been at the forefront of elevating pictograms to a high art form. The Israeli artist has published two books, Guess Who: The Many Faces of Noma Bar (2008) and Negative Space (2009). We caught up with Bar, who now resides in London, to take us through his favorite works, a series of minimalist illustrations with deeper undertones.
