Under Construction

Here's some more old-school flavor to build your animated-GIF history chops before we get to the gold mine. This thing was EVERYWHERE. Mostly because no one in the mid- to late '90s had any idea how to build a functioning website and everyone was still using AOL dialup. Even if you could make a killer, functional site, no one could see it. The solution to having no idea what you're doing? Just put this guy up on the bottom of every page and you get a pass. "Oh, my site doesn't suck, it's just not finished yet." Nope. It sucks. Come to think of it, maybe we should put one of these on this list...just in case.

#9 is not just a GUY sky-surfing on a flying crocodile. It's ACE RIMMER of the Red Dwarf. You fools. :(

Indeed, #9 Is Arnold (Ace) Rimmer, from an episode of Red Dwarf, a British Sci-fi Comedy series. I wouldn't quite say "no one's ever seen before" considering the fact that PBS runs marathons of it annually, even though it's mostly been on hiatus since the late 80's/early 90's.
