What’s your preferred bike style? Why? "I love riding a fixed a gear mountain bike off road. Total focus is needed."

What bike do you have with you today? "A Giant Canyon. The original components were crap, but after years of riding rigid bikes off-road, I enjoyed the plush ride. I upgraded all of the components to Shimano XT with an XTR short cage rear derailleur. The fork is also aftermarket, a Manitou Mars. The saddle is a Specialized Body Geometry. It is now much lighter and better performing than when it was new. The pedals are just random flat pedals for city riding. I use Shimano pedals when I go clipless."

Craziest bike injury: "While riding downhill on a road bike (for the experience) for work as a messenger, I fell taking all the skin off of my fingers down to the bone."

Riding pet peeve: "Getting cut off by motorists."

Riding motto/philosophy: "B+ = Be positive"

How would you describe your personal style? "Insanity, unleashed"
