When it comes to American supercars, you basically got two options: Corvette or Viper. Entrepreneur and car designer Gerald Wiegret is looking to change all that with the Vector WX8. Making its first appearance at ’07 LA Auto Show, the WX8 was built with the sole purpose of dominating all the European stalwarts and if the specs really do it make it from paper to pavement it just might. With a body made completely out of carbon fiber and 750hp V8, it seems like it’s up to the task. Oh, yeah, they also claim it can hit 270 mph. Yes, that would make it faster than the Bugatti Veyron.
