As the debate continues over which alternative fuel will drive us into the future, some car makers, like Austin, Texas based Ronn Motors, are already placing their bets. For their first foray into the exotic car market, the Scorpion will feature a Hydrogen internal combustion engine (HICE). Unlike full-fledged hydrogen powered cars, HCIEs still have a conventional combustion engine (theirs sourced from Acura) that is modified to run on a mixture of hydrogen and gasoline. The Scorpion goes one step further and uses Hydrorunner technology to produce the hydrogen onboard as needed.
