This sweet hybrid hatchback is propelled by a 1.4-liter TFSI gasoline direct-injection engine (150 hp) driving the front wheels and a 41-hp electric motor in the rear. The four-seater gets 48 mpg of premium fuel; the lithium-ion battery pack can last 62 miles in electric mode. It's scheduled to reach Europe mid-2009.
