1. Be a real hoser
Pre-rinse thoroughly! Dirt that remains on your car gets abrasive when scrubbing. It's imperative that you hose off as much as possible.

2. Your car is VERY sponge-worthy
Use a new sponge every scrub, changing your soapy water often. Rinse more than you think necessary.

3. The dry spell
Dry quickly to avoid water spots; microfiber cloths work best. And never dry in a circular motion. Go in one direction, toward the ground.

4. Wax on
Instructions on wax are there for a reason-follow them religiously or you'll regret it. Collinite Corp. of Utica, NY (collinite.com), makes an amazing product.

5. Wheel talk
