As co-hosts of YO! MTV Raps, Dr. Dre and Ed Lover held it down for an eight-year run on the show. Interviewing rap's most popular artists on the biggest national stage (back then MTV still featured uh...music) spread hip-hop's influence and shot this duo into the mainstream stardom.
