Rowing footwear is typically bolted to the boards of the boat, connecting the athlete to the vehicle at all times. Unfortunately, in order to accommodate everyone, the norm was to use size 12 shoes. Guess what Nike developed? A shoe that fits into the boards that is interchangeable depending on the athlete’s foot size. Innovation!
