Apparently Equestrian (a.k.a. horseback riding) boots haven’t changed since forever. They’ve always just been heavy leather boots, not very comfortable or breathable, or anything. Nike is hooking up the horse-girls with padding in the calf, Zoom Air in the underfoot, and a zipper so they can get the thing off their feet after an intense day of riding.
