Inspired by Hip-Hop’s affection for “chrome shoes” on their whips, DaDa hooked Chris Webber, the biggest baller to come out of Michigan since Magic Johnson, up with some over-the-top shiny sneaks. CDubbz’s kicks got more attention than his performance that night (and the rest of his career) and spawned an era of bizarre colorways being the go-to for ASG’s to come.
