8. Super Cat vs. Nitty Gritty

You thought shit was sweet? Gun tune champion Super Cat and mid-80s dancehall standout Nitty Gritty allegedly became embroiled in a 1991 shootout in front of Brooklyn’s Super Power Records. Nitty Gritty died, and though Cat was long rumored to be the shooter, he never faced reprisal. No tunes exchanged in this one—just bullets.
