Missing In Action 2: The Beginning

Missing In Action 2: The Beginning (1985)
Movie Tagline: A prisoner to strong too hold. A soldier too dangerous to let go.

Rambo was the biggest gun-toting ’80s bad ass, but when it came to hand-to-hand combat, he wasn’t fuckin’ with Chuck Norris. The Oklahoma native actually has some serious real life martial arts cred—he learned how to fight while stationed in South Korea and went on to become a star on the international karate tournament circuit. His Missing In Action series followed similar themes to Stallone’s Rocky II (soldier sent to extract POWs from Vietnam), but with the type of stone-faced martial arts moves audiences had come to expect from Chuck. In this stunning prequel, Chuck escapes from a North Vietnam POW camp by kicking Colonel Yin’s commie ass in the head about 50 times. After leaving his bloody body on the floor, Chuck stares him in the eyes and says quietly, “You lose.”.
