Lowdown: The agricultural industry (specifically corn and sugar cane) has reinvented itself so it can produce the ingredients for biodiesel. The bio-motor in this track-only VW race car is similar to a gas engine; the technology’s more in the fuel itself. E85 is probably already being sold at a station near you. But be forewarned: some manufacturers are voiding warranties if they find out you’ve used it. Haters!
