Luke: Yeah, July 21st.
Luke: People that knew me always knew that I was the host. I’m a great host, I make sure that everybody else is happy, you know what I mean? As a single man, yeah, I was young, I was a wild and crazy single man. But I did my thing with class. If you look at it as freak show videos or peep shows or whatever, it was me making sure everybody was happy. You never see me on the stage doing that, I was just the man with the big hat in the three ring circus and I’m going to continue doing that.
Luke: My wife carefully understands what I do and how I do it. And she went out and saw me do shows. She knows that it’s a business, so it’s not a big change. If I was one of the performers that would have made it different. But I don’t get high on my own supply.
Luke: I’ve always been that way. People that know me, know that I’m real picky about what I sleep with. It ain’t never been a thing where I get out there naked and have girls put whip cream on me and I’m going to miss that. That ain’t never been me.
Luke: People can really learn something from the show. I’ve always told parents, it ain’t the rappers or the actors; parents have to be parents. In my case, I’m getting to show people how I really interact and how I deal with it with my kids. My intentions were never to make money off of kids listening to my music. The reason the show is named Parental Advisory is because I’m the one who created that sticker. I’m the one who did a clean version and an adult version of my albums and I don’t get credit for that.
