When you perform, do you prefer acoustic or electric?

Paul Wall: I do my concerts off the CD. I have Michael Watts, my DJ, who started off at Swishahouse, which is like the screwed up clique. So I guess that would be electric.

Have you ever trashed a hotel room?

Paul Wall: Naw, not really. We try to leave a good impression wherever we at. I mean, we throw our fair share of parties, but you ain’t gonna find the mattress or the TV in the pool outside.

Have you been to rehab?

Paul Wall: Naw. When I came up, though, my father was a drug addict. And my mother was a recovering alcoholic. So I grew up going to AA with my mother, but I myself never did it.

Do you have any dream duets?

Paul Wall: He’s in jail right now, but Pimp C definitely, man.

Winona or Scarlett?

Paul Wall: That’s a good one. I don’t know, I can’t say. Winona, ’cause she’s the first one you said.

Where were you when Kurt Cobain died?

Paul Wall: I don’t remember. I remember where I was when Tupac died. But it definitely was a blow, you know?

Do you remember the song you lost your virginity to?

Paul Wall: You know what, it was to a screwed tape. I don’t remember what song it was, you can just put it was to a DJ Screw tape.
