Vivid Entertainment Group cofounder Steven Hirsch isn’t your run–of–the–mill, operating–under–a–pseudonym pornographer. Rather, he’s a respected 43–year–old businessman who’s lectured at USC’s business school, pioneered adult entertainment, and helped make porn so mainstream that Jenna Jameson now appears on magazine covers that aren’t located in the upper left corner of the newsstand. And he’s gotten filthy rich doing it. “The adult industry has afforded me a better life than I could have ever imagined,” he says from the top floor of Vivid’s headquarters overlooking the Hollywood freeway.
