No guest lists. No VIP areas. Two rooms: one for house music, the other for hip–hop. These were revolutionary ideas four years ago in Miami, and that’s when club king Nicola Siervo stepped up with the perpetually hot Mynt Lounge. The 38–year–old from southern Italy now spends his nights partying with the likes of Jay–Z, Puffy, Karolina Kurkova and Britney Spears at the 6,000–square–foot club. Sometimes, he’ll slip next door to Rock Bar, a cozy spot cofounded a year ago with Tommy Lee as an alternative to the beats–crazed crowds. So how does Siervo keep the celebs coming without offering the shelter of a VIP room? “Our philosophy is that we do our selection at the front door,” he says.
